Reminders & cancellations

ClassLab can email lesson reminders to families and enforce a cancellation deadline. You set the rules in Settings, and follow what was sent in the Communications tab.

Configure reminders

On the General tab:

• Email sender name — the name families see on your emails.
• Reminders before the lesson — when to send reminders (you can set several offsets, e.g. a day before and an hour before).
• Cancellation deadline — how long before a lesson cancellations are still allowed.

Follow what was sent

The Communications tab keeps a log of every reminder:

• the recipient (student or parent), the subject and the date,
• the status: scheduled, sent, or cancelled/failed.

From there you can resend a reminder, or cancel one that is still scheduled. Search by student or subject to find a specific reminder.
